Turikumwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more chicken feed with her portion of the loan.

Turikumwe Cb Group's story

Jeannette is a 47-year-old mother of seven children aged between 7 and 26 years old. Her husband is a businessman. For the past twenty years, she has owned a poultry farm.

She is the leader of the TURIKUMWE CB, which means “trusted people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeannette will use her portion of the loan to buy more chicken feed for her poultry. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and provide school fees to her children.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
