A loan helped to buy more thread and clothing materials.

Imbaraga Cb Group's story

Claudine is 52, the mother of six children aged between 12 and 26. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past eighteen years, she has been a tailor.

She is the leader of the Imbaraga Cb, which means “Strength” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Claudine will use her portion of the loan to buy more thread and clothing materials for tailoring to be able to tailor and sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
