Tuzamurane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sugar, rice, maize flour, cooking oil and beans.

Tuzamurane Cb Group's story

Marie Grace, 28, is the mother of one child aged 3 years. Her husband is a civil servant, and for the past one year, she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the Tuzamurane Cb, which means “Lets develop each other” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Grace will use her portion of the loan to buy more sugar, rice, maize flour, cooking oil and beans to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
