Ururabo Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sugar, rice, beans, salt and cooking oil.

Ururabo Cb Group's story

Marie Claire is a 45-year-old mother of three children between 7 and 18 years old. Her husband is a driver, and for the past five years, she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the Ururabo CB, which means “flower” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Claire will use her portion of the loan to buy sugar, rice, beans, salt and cooking oil to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to expand her business. She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
