Mele's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more stock for her retail store, which she even plans on expanding.

Mele's story

Mele and her husband run and operate a retail store so that they can provide for their family. She took a loan from SPBD in the past years and started this business. They have three teenagers, who all attend high school.

Mele's main helper is her husband. He is the one driving around and buying stock for their store. Their store is located in their own front yard, and they serve their customers from Monday to Saturday every week, starting at 6 in the morning up to 11 in the evening.

They are helping the villagers ease their burden of having to travel to town for shopping; instead, they can get what they want from their store. Mele and her husband are planning on expanding their store, for their business is growing and they need more space for more goods.

With this loan, she will be able to purchase stock and also expand the store. She dreams of a better standard of living and great opportunities in the future for her family.
