Salwa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a digital camera, to prepare storage and purchase stock.

Salwa's story

Salwa, 29 years old, lives with her husband (a delivery driver) and their two young children (7 months, and 2 ½ years) in Beit Hanina, in north Jerusalem. She has been selling cosmetics from her home to a growing circle of contacts, for a number of months. Having tested the market, she now wishes to expand through social media and professional photography of her wares.

Salwa has received business training from MATI (the training partner of the Jerusalem Interest-free Microfinance Fund, JIMF). She needs funding for a high quality digital camera, and also to prepare the cellar of her building to hold stock, and to purchase stock.

She seeks to borrow NIS18,000 for these purposes, which will allow her to develop her business and her personal potential, and to contribute to her young family’s income.
