A loan helped to purchase dairy cows to increase cattle headcount and grow sales of organic milk.

Kenzhekan's story

Kenzhekan is 54 years old, she is married and has 2 children. She has a secondary education. She is hardworking, ambitious and entrepreneurial by nature.
She is well-versed in the farming technology and knows how to invest wisely. She has been engaged in animal husbandry since 1995, it is the main source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and her responsible approach to business, she was able to grow her business to count eight cows and a 1.25-ha plot of of irrigated land where she grows rice.
To further expand her business, she applied for a loan of 200,000 soms (KGS) from the Bank of Bai-Tushum to purchase dairy cows, increase sales of organic milk and boost income from livestock breeding. She plans to invest the revenue from the loan into further expanding her business.
