Las Obreras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric, thread, elastic, buttons and other products.

Las Obreras Group's story

This group called Las Obreras is in their 4th loan cycle with the women's Committee program. They are united and hard-working. They help each other and are looking for a way to be able to offer better living conditions for their loved ones. They are also participating in the Poverty Elimination program.

Celestina is one of them. She earns her living sewing. She has a modest workshop where she works every day from early in the morning. She always has a lot of orders and comments that things are going very well. All the work she does is of good quality and her customers like them.

She is requesting this loan to buy supplies to continue with her sewing like fabric, thread, elastic, buttons and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo but it is a group loan. A group photo is not possible without a gathering of people, prohibited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
