but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy women's shoes to bolster her initial capital.

Tushikamane Group's story

Madame Devotte is a client of IMF Hekima and oversees the group villageoise called "Tushikamane." She is married, 57 years old, and the mother of 3 children who all have finished their schooling. Her partner is a retail trader.

She sells women's shoes. She started this business 20 years ago with startup capital from her husband. Later on, she joined Hekima's loan program to support her business, which has grown progressively over time. With this new loan, she wants to buy women's shoes to bolster her initial capital. The challenge with her activity is when sales go down due to broken goods.

She would like to grow her business. She wants to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they give to non-bankable entrepreneurs in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to COVID-19 social distancing measures.
