Mujeres De Barrio Obrero Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase flour, milk, meat, noodles, rice, vegetables, fruit, and other products.

Mujeres De Barrio Obrero Group's story

The group was formed when friends and neighbors from the city of Encarnación joined together. They seek the way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their first loan cycle in the women's committee program.

Ceveriana is one of them. She is married and has 2 children, for whom she struggles to be able to give them a better quality of life and that they do not experience hardships. She has a store which she tends herself every day from early in the morning.

She says that she needs to invest a bit more in her business, to purchase flour, milk, meat, noodles, rice, vegetables, fruit, and other products and that, in this way, to have a greater variety to offer her customers. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving, which will be of great help to be able to continue improving.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
