Paxtoca Group's story
Emiliana Tomasa Cuá Cuá, is married and works as craftswoman "Making traditional clothing". She has 4 children and she has the support of her husband who works abroad. But these months that are approaching increase the demand on her business, and she wants to increase her working capital to cover the demands of her customers. The other members of this group work in diverse areas, which we will mention: sale of traditional clothing, making chalinas (scarves for women), seamstress, making traditional Güipiles (woven poncho). They have decided then to join forces to request a loan to increase the capital of each one of the members and so be able to have bigger businesses and improve profits. This group of people live in the canton of Paxtoca in Parajes Xecoxom 1 and 2, Paraje Chibatz 1.
