Abahuje Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to use her portion to buy more beans, cooking oil, and rice.

Abahuje Acb Group's story

Rose, pictured above, is 42 years old and married with five children aged between 16 and 22 years. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past fifteen years, she has owned a grocery store.

Rose is the leader of Abahuje ACB, which in English means “Togetherness Group." The members, who will share in this loan, sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Rose will use her portion of the loan to buy more beans, cooking oil, and rice to sell within her community. She will use her profits to pay school fees for her children and put away some as savings.

Rose is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all group members but was able to provide a photo of the group leader."
