Duhekane Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more African fabrics.

Duhekane Acb Group's story

Josephine is a 64-year-old mother of twelve children aged between 7 and 45 years. For the past twenty years, she has been selling clothes.

Josephine is the leader of the group called Duhekane Acb which in English means “Let's carry one another”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Josephine will use her loan to buy more African fabrics to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to increase her savings.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
