Dufashanye Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, cooking oil, spices, plantains, and rice.

Dufashanye Cb Group's story

Francine is 36 years old and a mother of two children, ages 5 and 10 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past ten years, she has owned a restaurant.

Francine is the leader of the group Dufashanye Cb, which means “let us work together” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Francine will use her portion of the loan to buy meat, cooking oil, spices, plantains, and rice to sell in her restaurant within her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to furnish her house. She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
