Nueva Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, chicken, pork, cassava, condiments and other products.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Nueva Esperanza Group is in its first loan cycle in the city of Curuguaty, which is a sensitive area due to the presence of armed groups. They are looking for ways to provide a better quality of life for their families so that they are not in need.

One of them is Liz, who makes and sells asaditos [kebabs] in a modest stall she has. She mentions that she is looking for ways to improve her situation, as she and her husband help to support their home and their son, whom they do not want to lack anything. Liz is happy within the group, as she saw it as a way to grow and improve her quality of life.

She requests this loan to buy meat, chicken, pork, cassava, condiments, and other products to continue with her sales.

Observation: Only one person appears in this photo, but this loan is for a group. The group photo was not possible due to efforts to avoid crowding people together because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
