Madre Lider Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, baked goods, canned foods, dairy products, and other items.

Madre Lider Group's story

The group Madre Líder was formed by women with the desire to launch their business and help support their families. It consists of 17 women, friends who support and help each other, and who fight for a better life.

Evangelista is one of the members of the group. She is married with children. A self sacrificing woman who struggles to give her family a better life, making an effort to provide for them all she could not have.

Evangelista has a grocery store and butcher shop at her house. She says her business is small, but she looks for ways to improve it. Her goal is to grow and continue giving the best to her family.

She requests the loan to buy various products to sell in her grocery store such as vegetables, baked goods, canned foods, dairy products, and other items.

Note: Though only one person appears in the photo, this is a group loan. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, and to avoid group gatherings, it was not possible to take the photo of the whole group.
