Los Lipez Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing: jackets, sweats, and athletic wear.

Los Lipez Group's story

The Los Lipez communal bank, as part of the UYUNI office, is made up of eight members who are friends. It's run by a board of directors of which Carmen is the president. The loan they're getting will benefit small-business entrepreneurs like Carmen.

Currently she has a business selling clothing in her sales stall. She said she has had the business for more than three years now.

The loan she's getting will be to buy clothing (jackets, sweats, and athletic wear), which she'll get from wholesale vendors, then sell in her stall.

This job enables her to earn financial resources. She's 29 years old and a single mother, and she has a son. Her goal is to grow her business and to have a house of her own.

Note: The board of directors is in the photograph. The whole bank wasn't photographed because of social distancing during the health emergency.
