A loan helped to build a safe latrine for his home.

Dyna's story

Dyna is 31 years old, married, and lives with his family in Bakan District, Pursat Province, Cambodia. He is a farmer who owns a few hectares of land where he grows various crops, including rice and potatoes. Dyna and his wife help one another with earning household income so that they can provide food, medicines, an education, and school allowances for their children. He has good experience in agricultural storage. This includes any deposit or holding of farm products, fertilizer, grains, feed, and other related supplies in facilities or containers. Most often this prevents contamination, but they are also used for times when production cannot meet demand.

Currently, his house does not have a safe latrine for his family members to use. Therefore, he is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine for his home. This will help to increase the value of his home and improve sanitation, which will ensure healthy living conditions to safeguard the heath of his family and protect the environment.

With the support of this loan, Dyna will be able to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks and cement, and to pay labor costs for building a safe latrine. He believes that through his hard work and perseverance, he will be able to achieve a better standard of living someday.
