Duterintambwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plantains, sorghum and beans.

Duterintambwe Cb Group's story

Triphonie is 53 and a mother of seven children aged between 6 and 31 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past one year, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Triphonie is the leader of the group Duterintambwe Cb, which means “make a step” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Triphonie will use her portion of the loan to buy plantains, sorghum and beans to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to pay the school fee for her children.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group".
