Abadahemuka Cb Group's story

Devotha is a 28-year-old mother of one child who is three years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past four years, she has owned a grocery store.

Devotha is the leader of the group Abadahemuka Cb, which means “trusted people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Devotha will use her portion of the loan to buy sodas, cooking oil, juices and rice to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and also provide for the family.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
