Twivanemubukene B Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy maize flour, cooking oil, and rice.

Twivanemubukene B Cb Group's story

Vestine is 42 years old and a mother of six children between 4 and 22 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 15 years, she has owned a grocery store.

Vestine is the leader of the group Twivanemubukene B Cb, which means “let us fight against poverty” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Vestine will use her portion of the loan to buy maize flour, cooking oil, and rice to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to buy some livestock.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
