Umugisha Tcb Group's story

Perpetue is a 37 year-old mother of three children aged between 3 months and 18 years old. Her husband is a Driver, and for the past ten years, she has owned a Beauty Shop.

Perpetue is the leader of the group UMUGISHA TCB, which means “blessings” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Perpetue will use her portion of the loan to buy Shampoos and Artificial hair to use in her salon for her clients. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and also be able to provide for the family.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group".
