A loan helped to buy merchandise.

19 Abril Alalay Group's story

Ximena, 24, has been selling food from her own stall for about 2 years. She gets up every day at 5am to go make her purchases, then she cooks lunches and extra dishes until 10am. In the afternoons, she studies. She is single and has no children.

Ximena is requesting this loan to buy merchandise, such as cooking pots, groceries, and new tables. She hopes to expand her stall, and if possible, have a store or a bigger business selling meals. She is studying to become a pre-school teacher in the afternoons and evenings, because she wants to become a professional.

Because of the pandemic, you see only 3 people in the photo. This is the board of directors of this communal bank.
