Ginger Leonela's story

Ginger Leonela and her family live in the parish of Colon in the Portoviejo canton. Its people dedicate themselves to agriculture and very diverse and appreciated gastronomy such as Creole chicken soup, dried Creole chicken, and unique clay oven roasted banana.

Before, Ginger Leonela and an uncle were dedicated to the sale of bags of rice. Her clients that she sold to have not been able to pay her for merchandise for various personal reasons. Currently, she is selling surgical-grade steel costume jewelry. She buys these from distributors who offer her good prices and thus she can obtain good income. She sells via the internet, WhatsApp and goes door-to-door. At first she practiced social isolation due to various restrictions that prevented her from going out to sell. However, she is currently working by following biosecurity protocols.

This loan is to buy sets of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, rings, earrings, etc. Her dream is to be a professional and for her family to be healthy.
