Juliana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for a bag of flour and retail goods to stock up her small kitchen shop to increase her income.

Juliana's story

Juliana is a 34 year old mother of three and will be expecting her fourth in the next few months, her children are of ages 12, 11 and 5 who are all attending a local primary school.

She is married to a self employed plumber. Juliana lives with her family in a small shanty apartment in a relatives compound. She lives in an urban district which is 6 kilometres out of Port Vila City.

Her community is small, and the main industry is service and food. As there a a lot of business houses located in the area, for one to make income has been quite alright.

Juliana has asked for a loan to pay for a bag of flour and retail goods to stock up her small kitchen shop so she can increase her income. She will use the bag of flour to bake delicious local bread.

With the earned revenue, she will use to improve her family's living conditions. Juliana dreams to own several retail shops, both in her community and back in her home island so she can provide for her customers needs and wants.

This is Juliana's second loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has repaid her first loan successfully on time. Through her loans, Juliana feels inspired to expand her business and become a successful entrepreneur.
