Eva Del Carmen's story

Eva Del Carmen is a 44-year-old microentrepreneur from the city of Cartagena who lives with her family and for 10 years has had a business selling fish, tubers, and more. The business idea was born of the opportunity to offer these products to the residents and passersby in the zone, a zone which lacks a public market and stores which offer these products. So, she saw the need to seek the way to satisfy this.

This business currently is her source of income which has allowed her to improve her quality of life and that of her family. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which appeared on a global level, her level of work dropped due to biosafety reasons and her income diminished drastically. For this reason, she asks for her first Kiva loan, through Fundación Santo Domingo, with the goal of investing in the purchase of fish, bream, bocachico, snapper, Lebranche mullet, corbina, etc. Support her in her business loan.
