Dayssi Nohemy's story
Dayssi Nohemy is a 53 year-old entrepreneur that lives with her husband and two children. Her children are 18 and 23 year-old students that she supports so that they can get ahead. For the last 10 years she's had a small business that she runs out of her home. The income from the business is used to support the family. She sells women's and children's clothing, cosmetics, school supplies and grocery items. Dayssi asked FUSAI for a loan to buy construction materials, such as brick, gravel, sand, and cement. She will make home improvements and make her home more secure, which will improve the quality of life of her family. In the future Dayssi would like to grow her business and open a store that is separate from her home.
