but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to expand her herd and increase sales of organic milk.

Akylai's story

Akylai, age 41, is married and has two children. She has a secondary education and is hardworking, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well versed in the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. She has been raising livestock since 2006 as the primary income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and responsible work approach, she has been able to develop her farm to include three cows, 10 sheep, and a horse. She has three hectares of irrigated land where she grows beans.

In order to further develop her farm, she applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the goal of increasing sales of organic milk and increasing her income from breeding livestock. She plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm.
