A loan helped to purchase dairy cows in order to increase the sale of milk to a local factory.

Asema's story

Asema is 29 years old, married and has four children. She has a high school education. As a main source of income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation since 2010. Thanks to her persistent work, her farm currently has 9 cows, 15 sheep and 2 horses on her farm. She also has a plot of land of 2.03 hectares, on which she grows potatoes.

Asema has a contract to provide organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. She learned that at the bank "Bai Tushum", she could get a loan secured in the contract for future volumes, through the product "Value Added Chain". She applied for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to purchase dairy cows, to increase the volume of milk for selling.

The payment for the milk from the factory will be transferred directly to Asema's bank account, and the payment on the loan will be deducted automatically. The income from the loan helps Asema further develop her farm.
