Everlyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business and increase the size and range of her stock.

Everlyn's story

Everlyn is a 29-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband and children in Chienge district in Zambia.

She sells a variety of soft drinks in her shop. With her first Kiva loan, Jane replenished her inventory which increased her sales, and now her business is thriving.

Everlyn is requesting a second loan to expand her business by purchasing more drinks to meet her customers' needs. She plans to use the profit she earns to help her community and support her family.

Everlyn will repay the ‘social interest’ on her second loan by volunteering three hours per week as a CAMFED Transition Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering the CAMFED Association by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health, financial literacy, and career guidance.
