A loan helped to pay for construction to renovate her old house.
Chanthy, aged 37, lives with her family located in the area of Angkor Borey district, Takeo province. At home, she has been operating a small convenience shop, offering many types of products including grocery items, snack foods, sweets, powders, canned food, noodles, and miscellaneous household things to local people in her community. She makes a suitable income of 5.00 USD per day, from which she can cover her daily costs. She takes good responsibility in her tasks such as asking customers questions, recommending the best product based on their desires and needs, and preparing products to be displayed on the sales floor. Because of the shortage of finances, she has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to pay for construction to renovate her old house. With this loan support, she will have money to purchase construction supplies such as bricks, zinc and cement, and pay for laborers. This renovation is very important for her family members to protect them and so that they can live with a comfortable standard of living and a good environment. It also can protect her family members from the crisis of climate change, such as rain. She sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like her.
