Konah's story

Meet 42 -year-old Konah, she lives with her partner along with 5 children. All of her children live at home while in school. Konah never had the opportunity to attend school.

She is a strong business woman who sells bags of charcoal. She sells 6 days a week, from 8:00 am up to 6:00 pm. She has been managing her sales for 11 years now. She uses car to transport supplies to her business site.

Konah learned how to sell by herself. She likes her business because it helps her a lot. In order to continue her business, Konah requested this loan from BRAC and Kiva Field Partner to purchase more bags of charcoal to sell in order to repay her loan installment and increase her income.

In the future, she wants to continue her children's education. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
