Rugwasane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on cement and nails for her hardware business.

Rugwasane Group's story

Ms. Rosette is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “RUGWASANE”. She is married, 44 years old, and the mother of nine children, all provided with schooling. Her husband is a teacher.

A hardware vendor, she began this enterprise in 2004 with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she got involved with the Hekima program for supporting her enterprise and has since been progressing in it.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on cement and nails, thus to bolster her capital. Her business has no problems.

She would like to build a house and to see her children continue studying. So, she wishes to say thank you to Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis related to COVID-19. The photo shows only the group leader due to COVID-19, so as to respect social distancing measures.
