Mardiyah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s online education needs during Covid-19.

Mardiyah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Mardiyah. She is 61 years old and married with two daughters and two sons. Mardiyah runs a food stall, and her husband is an employee. One of her sons is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their son to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Mardiyah has applied for a loan of 3,400,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her son’s online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but, in time, she will be able to repay the loan by using the profits generated from her business.

Mardiyah is a very hard-working mother who always strives for the best for her children and tries to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity to buy a smartphone and wants to thank to all lenders.
