Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy inputs and other things to work her pepper fields in order to produce more and to sell.
Benkadi Group's story
A housewife living in Mali, Fanta has grown peppers during the winter for 25 years. Before the winter, she grows the peppers for a month in the nursery and then transfers them to the field itself. Fanta is married and the mother of four children, aged 4, 8, 12, and 15 years respectively. Two of her children attend school. Her partner works in agriculture to earn a living. Fanta did not go to school. She borrows from RMCR to be able to buy enough inputs (fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide) in order to increase her profitability. Because of Covid-19, she is alone in the photo. Fanta sells her peppers wholesale and retail in her village. She hopes to be a great pepper producer to be able to satisfy her needs and those of her children in particular. She has a provisional monthly profit of 15725 FCFA.
