Chinara's story

Chinara is 48 years old, a widow and has four children. She has a high school education. By character, she is hard working, purposeful and enterprising. She is well versed in agricultural technology, and is able to invest money efficiently.

As a main source of income for her fmaily, Chinara has worked with livestock breeding since 1994. Thanks to her persistent work, and a responsible attitude to her business, she was able to develop her farm to 4 cows, 10 sheep and a horse. She also has 1.35 hectares of irrigated land, on which she grows barley and garlic.

With an aim to further develop her business, Chinara turned to the bank "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 195,000 som (KGS) to pay for field work. She aims to grow organic garlic. She plans to invest her income from the loan in further developing her business.
