A loan helped to buy more garlic and chili peppers.

Twisungane Cb Group's story

Selaphine is a 45-year-old mother of five children who are between the ages of 10 and 21. Her husband is a businessman. For the past twelve years, Selaphine has been selling vegetables.

Selaphine is the leader of the Twisungane CB Group which means “Let's come together” in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Selaphine will use her loan to buy more garlic and chili peppers to sell at the market place in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings and be able to expand her business.

Selaphine is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but was able to get one representative for the group photo".
