Shirin's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to expand her herd and increase her sales of organic milk.

Shirin's story

The 53-year-old Shirin is a widow with one daughter. She has a secondary education, and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to make the appropriate use of her resources. She has been raising livestock since 1995, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Shirin's hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to expand her farm, so that it now consists of four cows, 15 sheep, and two horses.

In order to expand her business further, Shirin has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her cattle-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm.
