A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around his house.

Bouna's story

Bouna is married and has four children living with him under the same roof. They reside in Chhuk District, Kampot Province. Bouna has spent most of his life working in agriculture, including farming and raising poultry. Through these businesses, he has been able to earn income to support his family’s daily living. His wife serves as his motivation to continue these businesses. Bouna processes his food crops regularly so that his family can have more food in reserve to help with shortages due to climate change. Processing agricultural products also generates income for his family and improves their standard of living.

Due to a shortage of financial resources, Bouna has applied for a loan of 2,000 USD in order to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around his house. This will provide a good environment, fresh air, and protection from illnesses so that his family can have good living conditions.

In the future, Bouna plans to renovate his old house and encourage his children to continue their studies at a university. Through hard work and perseverance, he believes that he can achieve a better standard of living for his family someday.
