Aissatou's Group's story

This group is composed of 22 women. It was created on May 25 2013. The women have strong ties and work together. They work primarily in commerce.

Madam Amy is being photographed alone in order to respect social distancing measures. She is 36 years old and married, the mother of three children.

Madam Amy works in commerce. She stocks up on merchandise in bulk at the capital's markets and resells her wares locally.

With this new loan, Madam Amy plans to reinforce her business by purchasing batik (wax fabric), veils, dresses, and other merchandise such as dishes.

The revenue from her sales will allow her to cover household expenses as well as purchase goats to raise.
