Atuwezeshe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on sewing materials, which will increase her starting capital.

Atuwezeshe Group's story

Mrs. Immaculee is a customer of IMF Hekima and presides over the groupe villageois “ATUWEZESHE.” She is a 51-year-old married mother of five, three of whom attend school and two of whom are independent. Her partner is a pastor.

She sells and makes clothing, which she started 20 years ago with funds from her husband. Later, she included the Hekima program to support her business, which over time, has progressively grown. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on sewing material, which will increase her starting capital. Her business’ challenge is linked to unpaid debts and a lack of clientele.

She would like for her children to continue going to school and to build a house. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unmonetizable business owners in the context of this global crisis due to COVID-19. The photo is of just the group leader because of COVID-19 in respect of social distancing measures.
