Abanyamugisha Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more tomatoes and silver fish to sell.

Abanyamugisha Tcb Group's story

Anastasie is 39 years old and a mother of five children between the ages of 1 and 13. Her husband is a farmer. For the past six years, she has owned a stall where she is a food vendor.

Anastasie is the leader of the group Abanyamugisha TCB, which means “blessed people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Anastasie will use her portion of the loan to buy more tomatoes and silver fish [sardines] to sell in her community in order to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will set aside some savings and be able to expand her business. She is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
