Amahirwe B Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped by buying more Irish potatoes, rice, meat, and cooking oil.

Amahirwe B Cb Group's story

Beatrice, shown above, is a 30-year-old mother of two children, aged 4 and 9 years old. Her husband is a business man, and for the past six years, she has owned a restaurant.

Beatrice is the leader of the group named AMAHIRWE B CB, which in English means “Blessed People.” Group members, who will share in this loan, sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Beatrice will use her loan to stock her business by buying more Irish potatoes, rice, meat, and cooking oil so that she can sell within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will allow her to increase savings and improve her family's living standards. In future, Beatrice plans to grow her business.

She is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative."
