Abishyizehamwe Cb Group's story

Jeannette is 61 years old and a mother of four children aged between 16 and 28 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 15 years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the Abishyizehamwe Cb Group, which in English means “people who have joined together". Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeannette will use her loan to buy more sweet potatoes, beans and sorghum to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings and be able to expand her business.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
