A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Marhamah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Marhamah. She is 39 years old and married with one daughter and two sons.

Marhamah runs a business of selling breakfast food and her husband runs a business of selling Ketupat, that is, Indonesian food. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and sending assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Marhamah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves their living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.
