Arche De Noe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy Bralima and Brasimba beers, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Arche De Noe Group's story

Esther is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group "Arche de Noe" [“Noah's Ark"]. She is 50 years old, widowed and has seven children who all go to school.

Esther started selling spices 12 years ago with starting funds received from her late husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business and it grew progressively. With this new loan, she is going to buy Bralima and Brasimba [local beer] which is going to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her activity is due to a lack of customers.

Esther would like to keep her children in school and to be able to feed her family. She would also like to buy a plot of land. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non bankable business owners in the context of the global health crisis. The photo only shows the group leader due to social distancing measures.
