Melanie's story

Melanie is 41 years old. She is married with no dependent children.

For more than ten years now, Melanie has been operating a sari-sari (variety) store in the town of Dagami. She sells basic commodities ranging from cooking oil, seasonings, coffee, powdered milk, pouch vinegar, soap, shampoo, eggs, and toiletries.

Melanie's difficulty in managing her business is the limited funds, which prevent her from increasing its stock. Therefore, she is unable to increase her daily income.

That is why Melanie decided to join CEVI and request a loan to cover her financial needs. She will used it to purchase rice, soft drinks, and assorted canned goods. She is grateful for the continued support, and she is more determined to work hard in order to expand her business.
