Na Tau 50 Group's story

Nhung is a minority Thai ethnic woman who's married and a great mother of a son and daughter, one in second grade, the other three years old. She lives with her husband and children in an old traditional Thai stilt house in a poor remote village.

Her family mainly relies on farming to earn a living. They grow rice, cassava, corn and also raise fish. Nhung's husband is also a mason for local businesses, but income is not high, so her family is still poor.

She's a hardworking farmer and has taken great efforts to increase her production and improve her family’s income. To expand production and business, she took out a loan from Anh Chi Em to buy fingerling (baby fish). Nhung hopes they'll bring good results for her family. She dreams of seeing her family escape poverty soon and have a sufficient life so her children can have a bright future.
