but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase orders for shampoo, creams, jewelry, perfumes, etc.

Gloria Elizabeth's story

Gloria Elizabeth and her family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi. It stands out because of its crafts made from Toquilla straw, wicker, Piquigua, and wood; fine Toquilla straw hats, recognized globally as “Panama hats,” recognized throughout all of the country and outside of it.

Gloria Elizabeth is a merchant of catalog products from Avon, Yanbal, and Belcorp (Ibel, cyzone, esika) (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and women’s accessories). She works three days a week, two to three hours a day. She leaves her products on credit and collects every eight days.

At the beginning, the social isolation left her without work due to fear of contagion and because of various restrictions that prevented her going out to sell, but currently she is tending the business with the biosecurity protocols.

This loan is to purchase orders of shampoo, creams, jewelry, perfumes, etc.

Her dream is to have her own shop and that her family is very healthy.
