A loan helped to buy pandanus and hire women to help with her weaving.

Heta's story

Heta is a mother to her five children and the wife of a farmer. They live in their own home on the island of Vava'u.

Heta runs a weaving business in order to provide for her family, especially her children. Her husband's plantation covers their daily meals, but they also have financial needs. She weaves taovala only, and sells them through social media and also to her relatives overseas. She also weaves ta'ovala for her children to use. Heta is a very responsible mother and she is very dedicated to her work so that her children will receive the blessing of her work.

She applied for a loan to buy pandanus for her weaving and also hire women to help with her weaving, for a customer of hers ordered 10 ta'ovala by the end of November and she need companions to help her to meet her customer's needs.
